I couldn't find the appropriate words to describe my experience here, it was just This place is far from Airport, far from City Centre, in the middle of nowhere, no street lights around the area, no food options, no modern toilet, is was just awful! Location: Extremely Terrible! This hotel is located between Kunming Airport and Kunming City Centre, basically in the middle of no where, No taxi driver would have any idea where this place is.
Luckily this hotel does provide free shuttle between the airport, but the only thing is you gotta have to speak enough Chinese to handle the conversation with the hotel staff, as they have absolutely no English efficiency. Being in the middle of no where is one thing, being in the middle of no where inside a red-light district fill with rats and cockroaches is another!
This in the middle of no where place is filled with low cost love hotel and prostitutes, ok I can ignore those as I've seen worse elsewhere in SE Asia, but I cannot ignore giant rats and cockroaches!
This place literately looked like one of those slum they show you on National Geographic, and I point I thought I've just arrived Liberia! That is when I found out that their emergency lights doesn't work at all Service: This is probably the only item that I can give it a passing grade, marginally. The staffs were energetic and seems to be happy to work there, they do answer you questions promptly and response to your request proactively. But there is so much that they can do when the hardware of this place is ridiculous! As I walk upstairs to my room through the staircase Yes there were no elevators , dust ball the size of a tennis ball roll around every possible corner of every imaginable location.
