Trip report from a great Stag Weekend in Lisbon. May have some good ideas for people looking for tips and things to do in Lisbon. First time flying with them and I only have good things to say.
Due to the weather the flight was delayed but I met the other guys at the airport and had some drinks. Free refreshments in- flight which was a nice touch. The salmon, cream cheese and rocket on flatbread was delightful. Quick cab to the hotel.
Cabs are great is Lisbon and really cheep. Within Lisbon it's euros pretty much wherever you go. Checked in at the LX Boutique Hotel. Quick check in, great staff who were always there and always on hand to help with questions, recommendations and ordering taxis. Rooms are very clean and comfy, great showers and super soft beds.
Great location too. Very fun. Something new for everyone. We're were like local celebraties with the numbers of pictures being taken of us. Great fun, our hosts made sure the beer was always topped up and were very helpful regarding directions for the club later. Back to the hotel and we were to Mercado de Ribeira to eat we would come here 3 times on the trip a must visit. Cannot recommend this place enough to come and hang out at. Indoor space with good vendors, pop up bars, a few local shops.
Great vibe - everyone got whatever cuisine they wanted and we sat to whether and ate and drank. Some people had this all three days. The hamburger place got good feedback, a chocolate vendor called Artisan and the Somerbys cider was loved by all.
