I'm considering going to Lesbos with two of my friends. We're 20 year old girls looking for a lot of bars, pubs and such and a couple of nightclubs, but nothing too crazy, I wouldn't want to see any vomiting drunk teenagers.
I don't want anything over the top, but I don't want to be bored either. So, is Lesbos preferably Anaxos or perhaps Petra the place for us,or should I keep searching for other destinations? A couple more in Molyvos but not sure this island has what you are looking for Tend to agree with post 1. Perhaps somewhere on Rhodes or Crete might be more suitable to ensure you have the sort of holiday that you seek.
Happy travels! No nightclubs in Anaxos and only a few independent bars , the tavernas and hotel bars make up the rest. Anaxos caters more towards the "more mature" holiday maker. Petra is a bit bigger with a little more nightlife but still isn't aimed at the younger end apart from the "Tortuga Bar" which I've only seen busy on a weekend with the local youth.
Molyvos is probably the resort that would closest suit your requirements. Look at Rhodes , Crete , or Corfu for the type of holiday you are after. Thank you guys, but as I said, I don't want vomiting teenagers or places packed with tourists, so Corfu and Zakynthos are definitely a no go.
Mykonos or Rhodes or Crete are way too expensive, we're only students after all. Crete is not expensive it can be cheap. As I pointed out Molyvos would closest suit. Very pretty little town with a good mix of nationalities and plenty of locals around your age especially weekends , Pirates bar is open till late and play a good selection of music. Lots of quieter places on Corfu and Zante too , Kavos and Laganas are the only party resorts on these islands.
